Torpedo 2 will participate in the fifth league from coming season. It will provide academy players with the option to stay with the team and advance professionally. Successful players will be gradually brought into the main team.
Giorgi Dzhelidze, who formerly coached Torpedo's Under-19 team, was appointed as the head coach, with Shota Babunashvili serving as his assistant.
Club veterans Zurab Ionanidze and Iura Kvernadze have returned to Torpedo, where they will be engaged in the selection and scouting of new players for the club.
